A fast go-to-market strategy

Massay's primary goal was to launch quickly and get feedback from users while iterating on their product. They didn't want to spend 6 months building a product from scratch to find out there was no market. To that end, we helped them partner with and customise Sharetribe - an open source marketplace product. This reduced their costs by more than 3x and also let them launch in weeks, instead of months.

Developing custom payment flows and integrations

Massay wanted to use a custom payment service provider to handle accepting payments, managing escrow, and distributing payments to vendors. Their choice of provider wasn't supported by Sharetribe when we did our implementation and so we worked with them to build customisations to all the core payment flows in Sharetribe's code whilst ensuring that future upgrades could still be applied easily without breaking anything.
